The tour is not available in the days near the full Moon. More information on this link.

Location

PRIVATE TOURS: to be agreed with the customer.
GROUP TOURS: Depending on the weather conditions, we will choose one of the sites located in the area of the Refugio del Pilar: Llano del Jable or Llano de Las Ventas astronomical viewpoints (7 minutes by car from each other). On the same day of the tour we will notify all registered participants by email.
The tour does not take place at the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory.

The tour lasts approximately 1h30m.

Conditions

The tour is subject to weather conditions. Please see our cancellation policy further down this page.
GROUP TOURS: The minimum group to carry out the tour is 6 people. The maximum group is 15 people.

Transfer

We do not provide any transfer service. Own car or taxi is required (there is no public transport to the astronomical viewpoints). Consult the taxis and private buses/minibuses telephone numbers on our FAQ's section.

PRIVATE TOURS:
1 or 2 people: 200€
From 3 to 5 people: 230€
From 6 to 15 people: 255€ + 15€ for each additional person.
GROUP TOURS:
Standard rate: 30€
Children (3-11 years of age): 18€
Babies (0-2 years of age): free

Important notice

Outdoor activity. Keep in mind that the temperature can vary a lot between day and night and from one place to another on the island. Warm clothes and closed shoes are required even in summer. Remember to keep your mobile phone on, in case of last minute notice.

Languages
PRIVATE TOURS: can be carried out in English, Spanish or Italian.
GROUP TOURS: if the group does not have a common language, the tour can be conducted in one or two languages simultaneously (usually Spanish and English).

How to book (group tour):

Before booking, please read carefully our change and cancellation policy further down this page.
Available dates are highlighted in blue. The available places are those shown in the drop-down.
In case the group is complete on the desired date or the dates have not been published yet, please fill in the contact form in order to be included in our waiting list.

Cancellation policy:

The Company reserves the right to modify the conditions or cancel the tour due to causes outside the sphere of its foreseeable control or events of force majeure.
We are not responsible for the customers errors during the purchasing process (for example, in case of duplicate purchase).
CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE COMPANY:
The tour could be cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions (rain, clouds, strong wind, haze, etc.), or if the minimum group of 4 people is not reached at the deadline. Please, check your email and mobile phone on the same day of the tour. A reschedule (subject to availability), to keep the ticket for a maximum of one year (with respect to the date of purchase), or a full refund will be offered to you.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE CUSTOMER (PRIVATE TOUR):
The cancellation of the reservation implies the loss of the deposit paid.
Free rescheduling until 48 hours before the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, changes requested by the client imply the loss of the deposit paid. In case of change of date (within the deadline), it is possible to keep the reservation for a maximum of one year, with respect to the date of purchase.
To modify their reservation the client must send us a written request via email only (contacto@adastralapalma.com), indicating the date of the tour, name and surname, specifying their request: cancellation, reschedule (subject to availability) or other request.
In case of changes in the reservation (both by the customer and the Company), the above-mentioned cancellation policy will be applied: the client can modify their booking until 48 hours before the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, changes requested by the customer imply the loss of the deposit paid.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE CUSTOMER (GROUP TOUR):
The customer can cancel his reservation at a charge of 50% of the total amount until 48 hours before the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, cancellations requested by the client will not be refunded.
The client can request changes of date (subject to availability) at no additional charge up to 48 hours before the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, changes will not be accepted. In case of change of date (within the deadline), it is possible to keep the ticket for a maximum of one year, with respect to the date of purchase.
