La Palma has 16 astronomical viewpoints, located in strategic places for stargazing.
Each viewpoint is fitted with informative panels about different issues related to astronomy, such as Moon observation, the recognition of main constellations and the Pole Star, the Sky Law, etc.
This project was carried out by the Tourist Board of La Palma, with the purpose of consolidating the island as an astrotourism destination, and it began in the year 2010 with the inauguration of the two first viewpoints (El Llano de Las Ventas and El Llano del Jable).
Come and discover the sky wonders with us, from one of the most fascinating viewpoints of the island.
